Christmas Star Workshop

Make a woven or Nordic star in this fun Christmas workshop. We will make a large star which can also have lights, ribbons, coloured wire or greenery added. 

Stars can hang inside or out and we will have a variety of decorations available to add. If you would like to add lights to your star please bring these along.

We work in small friendly groups, with a break for coffee/tea and cake and lunch.

We work with willow which has been grown in Somerset and specially dried. In order to be suitable for weaving it is then soaked to make it pliable or sometimes with fresh willow in winter if harvesting is underway.

 There is no age limit but children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

Tools will be provided, but if you have them please bring:

Sharp secateurs or garden scissors (many people prefer using ones they are used to)

A pruning knife if you have one
