Swiss Valais Blacknose Lamb Group Valais Canton Switzerland September 2024

Natives of the Swiss Alps, the Valais Blacknose  sheep has become something of a
phenomenon over the last few years, being christened on  social media as the ‘world’s cutest
sheep’ and spreading from its mountainous home to farms across the world.

Sheep in the Valais area of Switzerland graze high mountain pastures in the summer, and can
be located by the sound of their elaborately designed bells.  The bells help the shepherd
locate missing sheep and are also presented to the winners of the prestigious Miss Visp
competition, the foremost show for the breed, which  takes place in Valais each February.

Prints are available in three sizes and a choice of mounted print for your own frame, or a black or oak effect frame
