Boxing hares are one of most wildlife photographer's most wanted images. After several years of trying, the discovery of some great local fields for hares in the Norfolk Brecklands in the spring of 2019 was really exciting. There were about 8 hares the morning I took this image, chasing around and boxing. I also have an image of the hares boxing, and this was taken seconds after and depicts the stand off afterwards.
