Red Squirrel Photographic Print Yorkshire Dales
In early winter of 2021 a new lockdown was imposed on the UK and I found myself somewhat stranded in the Yorkshire Dales village of Hawes. The area is a stronghold for Red Squirrels and they became something of a support bubble, getting to know individuals and their habitat well. After long periods absent from England Reds are making something of a come back across Northern England, which is a considerable conservation success story!
This Squirrel was sitting in a patch of sun and suddenly sat up very alert. There were Stoats hunting in the area so it is possible he had spotted a tell tale white streak crossing the woodland floor.
The print is available in three sizes and two different frames. For a bit more information about how our mounted prints are made and your framing options just click here.
