Red Squirrel Photographic Print Yorkshire Dales

In early winter of 2021 a new lockdown was imposed on the UK and I found myself somewhat stranded in the Yorkshire Dales village of Hawes. The area is a stronghold for Red Squirrels and they became something of a support bubble, getting to know individuals and their habitat well. After long periods absent from England Reds are making something of a come back across Northern England, which is a considerable conservation success story! 

This image was taken shortly after sunrise (or at least when the sun made it over the hills!) and I love the pink glow behind this squirrel's tail
