A new addition to our calendar range this year, this calendar features twelve new images of Valais Blacknose Sheep.
Natives of the Swiss Alps, the Valais Blacknose sheep has become something of a phenomenon
over the last few years, being christened on social media as the ‘world’s cutest sheep’ and
spreading from its mountainous home to farms across the world.
Sheep in the Valais area of Switzerland graze high mountain pastures in the summer, and can
be located by the sound of their elaborately designed bells. The bells help the shepherd
locate missing sheep and are also presented to the winners of the prestigious Miss Visp
competition, the foremost show for the breed, which takes place in Valais each February.
Photographer Toni Cross captured images of these sheep in the Yorkshire Dales,
Ireland, and the valleys and mountains of Valais
Our calendars are a little unique, as they all feature the work of a single photographer rather than being purchased from photo agencies, creating a more individual look. They are also printed and assembled in the UK and are not mass produced. Whilst you will find them on our stand at shows around the county, and through selected small retailers, you can't get them on the high street, so if you are buying as a present there is a lot less chance the recipient will already own one!
Calendars are A4, spiral bound with a hanger. Printed on quality satin sheen paper with card covers. Our calendars are printed in the UK. There is enough space to write a few words in each box.
